Function key

    The user can select the function of 7 programmable function keys.

    Key-1, key-3, key-4, key-5, key-6, key-7 and key-8 can be programmed anyone out of the following options.

Options:

    None: Not associated with any function for the key, pressing this key is not effective.

    SOS: Initiate an emergency alarm which is a typical function keys associated with.

    VOX On/Off: Toggle VOX on or off

    High/Low Power: Toggle transmit power level between high and low

    Squelch: Toggle squelch level between tight and open  

    Zone Selection: Allows selection from a list of zones

    Remote Check: Determines if a radio is active in a system

    Scan On/Off: Toggle scan on or off

    Quick Call 1: Directly initiates a predefined Quick Call 1

    Quick Call 2: Directly initiates a predefined Quick Call 2

    Quick Call 3: Directly initiates a predefined Quick Call 3

    Quick Call 4: Directly initiates a predefined Quick Call 4

    Quick Call 5: Directly initiates a predefined Quick Call 5

  TX Interrupt: Press this button to interrupt an ongoing voice call on the current channel for a new call or data service. When using the transmit interruption function, it is necessary to enable the TX Interrupt function in both the interrupt and the interrupted side.

  Default:

    None.

  Note:

     -Key-2 is dedicated as PTT call function and cannot be programmed.
